Key Responsibilities
Checkout & Transactions
Process payments via cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payment methods
Accurately scan items, calculate totals, and issue receipts
Handle refunds, discounts, and promotions in accordance with store policy
Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and responsibly, maintaining integrity in cash handling and drawer balancing at the start and end of each shift
Customer Experience
Provide calm, professional, and friendly service throughout the checkout process
Assist customers with basic inquiries and support their in-store experience as needed
Stay informed about promotions, featured products, and store updates to better support customer needs
Store & Team Support
Based on store needs, proactively assist with floor support such as stocking, replenishment, and other operational tasks during non-peak times
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing checkout area
Collaborate with team members and managers to ensure smooth daily operations
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Qualifications
Customer-focused with a calm, approachable, and professional demeanor
Comfortable operating front-end equipment (POS system, scanner, etc.)
Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing schedules
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Detail-oriented with solid cash-handling and basic math skills
Able to multitask, stay organized, and efficiently perform repetitive tasks
Previous cashier or retail experience preferred
Bilingual in English and Mandarin
