Role Overview
As an Assistant Store Manager, you are a key member of the store leadership team, supporting the Store Manager in executing daily operations and managing the sales floor. This role is focused on hands-on leadership, on-site execution, and team support, and serves as a critical development position for future Store Managers.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations & Execution Support
Support the Store Manager in executing daily operational plans and store initiatives
Oversee day-to-day store execution, including floor coverage, scheduling support, and front-end operations
Ensure store procedures, service standards, and operational guidelines are consistently followed
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead and support frontline team members during daily operations
Help foster a positive, collaborative, and supportive team environment
Assist with employee training, coaching, and performance feedback
On-Site Management & Issue Resolution
Handle day-to-day operational issues within assigned authority
Identify operational challenges on the floor and escalate or recommend improvements as needed
Support store operations in the Store Manager’s absence, within defined guidelines
Customer Experience Support
Help ensure customers receive consistent, professional, and friendly service
Assist in resolving customer concerns and maintaining a positive store environment
Qualifications
Prior experience in retail or customer-facing roles; leadership or shift-lead experience preferred
Reliable, responsible, and professional, with a strong sense of accountability
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
Good judgment and adaptability in on-site situations
Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin
